The SGH10 is an absolute wire-actuated encoder for position and speed measurement. The sensor has been developed using our more than 30 years of experience in wire-actuated encoder sector. The new measuring system eliminates the costly need of boring of the piston head and rod. As a result, integration costs are reduced in comparison to other measuring systems. Additionally, the weakening of the piston and rod is eliminated along with the boring. Another highlight: The measuring system can even be used in telescopic cylinders! Using its teach-in function, the measuring range can be adjusted to any measuring length and consequently a high degree of flexibility can be achieved. Thanks to its robust design and high vibration and shock resistance, the SGH10 impresses with its high reliability and low failure rate. In addition, the housing enables use in a temperature range from -40° C to 105° C. The optionally available mounting accessories also ensure easy installation in various hydraulic cylinders.
