With more and more electrification, it is sometimes the case that separate vehicle electrical systems are used. A 12V battery is used to supply all the usual functions, and a 48V battery is used to power the traction drive. In order to cross-link these separate systems via CAN, CVEP has developed a CAN isolator for mobile machines. A voltage offset between the two systems is no longer a factor in message transmission.
